I can still use it but that just means I'm still on the hunt for a lighter transition shade. That's what I thought Barcelona Beach was going to be but it turned out to be a neutral medium brown. There are very few true neutral or cool transition shades. I tend to start off lightly and build to the level of intensity that I want. As a result, the colour is very richly pigmented. I’d recommend tapping off the excess before applying to the face. The texture, as expected, is smooth but powdery so expect a little fall out. However, the range of colors seems somewhat limited right now. The powders are the same size as their blushes with 4.25 grams per pan. I do have a large Z palette which I plan on filling up with MUG shadows. I do love the fact that MUG shadows are so affordable and I would much rather have a significant stash of this brand than any drugstore brand. But it's somewhat hard to buy online and sometimes the photos on the first page do not look like the photos on the item's page so I've been relying on the descriptions, which were not really accurate for this particular shade. It is well known, and well loved as it is the perfect crease shade, that blends beautifully. Creme Brulee is a classic Makeup Geek eyeshadow. I love the fact that they are talc free, which is why they blend so effortlessly. Mai Tai apricot base with orchid reflects, duochrome finish. This was my first MUG purchase and I will definitely be buying more. But it's a lovely neutral brown sand color with a matte finish.
I wanted more of a transition shade and this is a little too deep for that.
